  2. Main MCB to RCCB: Connect the output terminals of the main MCB to the input of the RCCB.
  3. RCCB to Sub-Circuits: Connect the output of the RCCB to the input terminals of the single-pole MCBs.
  4. Neutral Connections: Connect the neutral from the RCCB to the neutral link, then distribute to each sub-circuit.
  5. Earth Connections: Connect all earth wires from the supply and sub-circuits to the earth link, which is connected to the grounding electrode .

Example Sub-Circuits

  • Lighting Circuits: 5–10A MCBs for individual rooms or zones.
  • Socket Outlets: 16–20A MCBs for general-purpose outlets.
  • Special Appliances: Higher-rated MCBs (e.g., 16A–20A) for AC units or water heaters .

  • Always turn off the main supply before wiring.
  • Ensure correct polarity for live, neutral, and earth connections.
