Physical Layer Problems Faulty cables, SFP modules, or incompatible port types (e.g., mixing copper and fiber without proper configuration) can prevent the aggregation from functioning . 5. Device Compatibility Some switches or gateways do not support aggregation on certain ports. For example, certain UniFi switches and gateways cannot form LAGs with unsupported devices, which can result in no network access .
